My proposed WooCommerce fix lets block themes show wide Cart, Checkout and My account page titles at the same width the Site Editor shows. PR #69316 is open as a draft. The screenshots below show the patch applied.
The problem
On block themes, WooCommerce caps the page title on the Cart, Checkout and My account pages at 1000px. WordPress gives a wide-aligned block the theme’s wide size instead. Both rules have the same specificity, so whichever stylesheet loads last wins.
When WooCommerce’s stylesheet loads after WordPress’s global styles, a wide title stops at 1000px. It starts further in than the cart below it. The Site Editor doesn’t apply the cap, so the editor and the live page disagree. WooCommerce’s own Cart template sets its title to wide. Issue #69270 ↗ reported it on 1 October 2026.
The fix
The patch skips the cap for titles aligned wide or full:
.wp-block-post-title:not(:where(.alignwide, .alignfull)),Wrapping the exclusion in :where() keeps the selector’s specificity the same, so themes that already override the rule keep working. Titles with no alignment keep the 1000px default. I chose this over making 1000px a setting, because the alignment the theme picks already says how wide the title should be.
I reproduced it in WordPress Playground on WooCommerce 11.1.2, WordPress 7.1.2 and Twenty Twenty-Five. Stock Twenty Twenty-Five loads WooCommerce’s stylesheet first, so the bug only appeared after I forced the reverse order. With the patch, the wide title measured 1340px in both orders, and the unaligned My account title stayed at 1000px. The full test suite wasn’t run locally.
As of 2 October 2026, PR #69316 ↗ is open as a draft and awaiting review.
Before and after

Before: the wide Cart title stops at 1000px when WooCommerce’s stylesheet loads after WordPress’s global styles.

After: the same page with the patch. The title uses the theme’s 1340px wide size and lines up with the cart.
